LONG TERM VS SHORT TERM GOAL
Long-term goals are the objectives of the goals you establish
for yourself at the end of the year for the next four or
five years, or even for the rest of your life.
We can create short-term goals for an hour from now, the
end of the day, or the semester.

SPECIFIC MEASUREABLE
GOALS SHOULD BE SPECIFIC AND WELL- GOALS SHOULD BE
DEFINED. THIS MEANS THAT THEY MEASURABLE, MEANING THAT
SHOULD ANSWER THE QUESTIONS OF PROGRESS CAN BE TRACKED
AND EVALUATED. THIS
WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, AND WHY. REQUIRES SETTING SPECIFIC
FOR EXAMPLE, INSTEAD OF SETTING A METRICS OR TARGETS THAT
GOAL TO "IMPROVE MARKS," A SPECIFIC CAN BE USED TO MEASURE
GOAL WOULD BE "INCREASE MARKS TO PROGRESS.
80% IN THE NEXT EXAM."
ACHIEVEABLE RELEVANT
GOALS SHOULD BE ACHIEVABLE, GOALS SHOULD BE RELEVANT TO
MEANING THAT THEY ARE THE INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM'S
REALISTIC AND ATTAINABLE. OVERALL OBJECTIVES AND
THIS REQUIRES CONSIDERING THE PRIORITIES. THIS REQUIRES
CONSIDERING HOW THE GOAL
RESOURCES, SKILLS, AND TIME
AVAILABLE TO ACHIEVE THE
TIME BOUND ALIGNS WITH BROADER GOALS AND
OBJECTIVES.
GOAL. FOR EXAMPLE, IF THE GOAL GOALS SHOULD BE TIME-BOUND, MEANING
IS TO INCREASE MARKS TO 80%, THAT THEY HAVE A SPECIFIC DEADLINE OR
IT SHOULD BE ACHIEVABLE BASED TIMEFRAME FOR COMPLETION. THIS
ON THE CURRENT ABILITY. REQUIRES SETTING A SPECIFIC DATE OR
TIMELINE FOR ACHIEVING THE GOAL.
