Descriptive Title: Intermediate Accounting 4
Credit Unit: 3 lecture units
Time Allocation: 3 hours per week
Pre-Requisite: ACC 103
Course Description: This is the last of the four-part study in financial accounting which focuses on the
preparation of financial statements and the concepts and application of the PFRS
for SMEs.
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the learners are expected to:
1. Be able to prepare a complete set of financial statements.

Grading System:
FG = (0.20×P1) + (0.20×P2) + (0.20×P3) + (0.40×FE)
PG = Quizzes-40% + Periodic Exams*-40% + Other Components **- 20%

* Periodic exams are comprehensive exams covering topics during the period.
** May be in the form of recitation, essay tests, assignments, projects, etc.
% Equivalent = (Raw Score/Highest Possible Score) x 100
