Minimum Technology Infrastructure Requirements for taking Online Mathematics Qualifier Exam:

Hardware, Software & Connectivity Requirements:

1. Laptop or Desktop: RAM – Min. 2GB (4GB is recommended); Processor Speed - 1.5 GHz and
above. Test Takers must not attempt the exam using a Mobile Phone.

2. Operating Systems:

● Microsoft Windows (version 7 or above)


● MAC OS (any version)
● Linux (any version)

3. Browser: Only Google Chrome (Version 35+) or Mozilla Firefox browser for the above
operating systems. (It is recommended to use the latest version of Chrome or Firefox)

In case you have a Laptop with a Mac OS, you must attempt the examination using a Google
Chrome or Mozilla Firefox Browser Only. Test Takers using Mac OS should not use Safari Web
browser for the examination.

4. Web Camera with permissions for the examination platform to be used for online
proctored examination (Mandatory)

If you face any Image Capture issue while taking the Exam on Google Chrome browser from your
system, then we request you to try switching to Mozilla Firefox browser for taking the exam.

Please refer to the important instructions for resolving image capture issues for resolving your
image capture issues.

5. Internet Bandwidth: The minimum required bandwidth is 512 Kbps to 1 Mbps of


internet speed.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Test Takers must ensure that they have proper power backup resources at their end for
managing the power failures (if any) happening during the examinations. Test Takers must also
ensure that they have proper internet connectivity with alternate internet connectivity
backup options at their end for managing the network failures (if any) happening during the
examinations. Please note that it is the Test Taker’s responsibility to ensure that they are
having all recommended hardware and software resources as mentioned above, including
the proper power backup and alternate internet connectivity options during the
examinations.
