Introduction for the Speaker (Fr. Manuel H.

Zagada)

Good morning, everyone! I am honored to introduce you to Rev. Fr. Manuel H. Zagada. Born on
December 27, 1971, in Lourdes, Nabua, Camarines Sur, Fr. Zagada has dedicated his life to serving
God and his community. He was ordained on March 15, 2000, at the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of
Peñafrancia in Naga City.

Fr. Zagada's educational journey reflects his intellectual and spiritual growth commitment. He
pursued his AB Philosophy at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary in Naga City, followed by graduate
studies at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, where he earned his Ph.L. and Master of Arts in
Philosophy.

Throughout his years of ministry, Fr. Zagada has served in various pastoral roles, from Parochial
Vicar to Professor/Formator, demonstrating his deep dedication to nurturing the faith and
development of others. His extensive experience includes serving as a Spiritual Director, Academic
Moderator, and Executive Dean of Studies.

Currently, Fr. Zagada serves as the Dean of Philosophy at the Holy Rosary Major Seminary in Naga
City, continuing to inspire and guide future clergy members in their spiritual and academic pursuits.

Please join me in welcoming Rev. Fr. Manuel H. Zagada, whose wisdom and guidance will
undoubtedly enrich our time together in this recollection.
