CECT SCAN OF THE ABDOMEN AND PELVIS DATED 17.02.2022
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis has been done using MDCT scanner.
Compared with previous CT scan dated 10.12.2021
No significant change in the irregularly contracted gall bladder with irregular heterogeneously
enhancing wall thickening. Ill-defined soft tissue is seen in the region of the fundus of the gall
bladder measuring approximately 4.3 x 4.3 cm. this soft tissue is seen infiltrating the adjacent
segment VI of liver. Ill-defined hazy attenuation is seen in the pericholecystic region with
peritoneal fat stranding. The fat planes with the lateral wall of the second part of duodenum are
indistinct, no obvious infiltration seen. Diffuse peritoneal fat stranding is seen with no obvious
measurable peritoneal or omental nodule seen.
Tiny subcm sized hypodense nodule is seen in segment IV and left lobe of liver -unchanged.
The Liver is normal in size & shape .There is no dilatation of the biliary tree.
The pancreas, spleen, kidneys and adrenals appear normal.
The visualized GI tract appears unremarkable.
The urinary bladder is normal.
There is no significant retroperitoneal or pelvic adenopathy.
There is no ascites.
Pelvis is unremarkable.
The visualized bones show no suspicious lesion.
IMPRESSION
Impression: CT reveals stable disease
