The line graph demonstrates the data about the percentage of people who obtained news from 4

types of mass media between 1995 and 2025.


Overall, the news sources that we have been using for many years- TV, Newspaper and Radio
are becoming unpopular and will continue to do so in the future. In contrast, it is predicted that
Internet access will have become prevalent by 2025.
Looking at the details, the most popular source in 1995 was TV, estimated about 70%, but it is
anticipated that will have gone down to 50% in 2025. Having said that, this trend saw a
noticeable decrease to about 58% in 2002 before rising negligibly in 2010.
As regards, starting at 55% and 53% in 1995, respectively, both information sources -
newspapers and radio witnessed a slight decline to 42% in 2010. After that, there was a
considerable reduce in 2020 and it will have been continued to 28% on newspaper an 22% on
radio.
The most striking change was observed in the percentage of the internet which was started at 0%
in 1995, managed to rise dramatically to 29% over 15 years. Despite showing minimal increase
from 1995 to 2003, it is expected the usage of internet will have been the habitual in 2025.
