Project Title : “Ilaw mo, Sagot ko.

Illuminating the Street of Zone 5, Barangay


Parian, San Fernando La Union”

Project Description:

The lack of streetlight has been a problem in our community. In a recent report
someone attempted to break-in a house in Zone 5, Barangay Parian, San Fernando, La
Union. And on the next day the owner of the house found out about the incident
because of the blood scattered on the ground and due to high fence topped with
barbwires the break-in was unsuccessful. For this reason, I propose a project can that
can help our community to lessen this kind of incident and the title of this project is
“Ilaw mo, Sagot ko. Illuminating the Street of Zone 5, Barangay Parian, San Fernando La
Union”. This project aims to provide streetlight ensuring the risk of any kind of accident
and incident and to make the resident in that area feel more secure especially during
nighttime.

Furthermore, streetlight plays an important role especially when it comes to


public safety. A well-lit roadways lessen the risk of criminal activities and lessen the
likelihood of accidents and incidents, streetlights gives a sense of security for both
residents and non-residents of the area by giving light in the darkness it allows everyone
to go around with confidence and peace of mind.

Goals:

• Improved Public Safety – To enhance the safety of the area covered in the
Barangay by providing well-lit streets, reducing the risk of accidents, and
deterring criminal activities.

Project Scope:

- This project aims to shed a light within our neighborhood in Zone 5, Barangay
Parian San Fernando La Union with the estimated population of 605. By installing
LED streetlights for every 15 meters (49ft.) within the neighborhood. It will help
us to create a safer and more secure environment in our community.

they are the primary beneficiaries of this project, because they provide valuable input in
lighting priorities and safety concerns.

The Implementors – The Barangay Officials and staff of Barangay Parian, San Fernando
La Union – Who play an important role for this project by providing support, give
guidance, decision-making up until from allocating of budget and resources.

The Government – The City Government of San Fernando La Union for providing
regulatory oversight, approval of project plan, and allocate funding for implementation
of this project.

The Contractors and Suppliers – This Entities is responsible for providing constructions
services, materials, and equipment needed for this project.

Expected Results:

- The expected result of this project is to give a safer environment for the resident
and the community and to have a better visibility during night, this project also
aims to reduce the risk of the accidents/incidents and to enhance personal
security and lastly to give the residents an inclusive community where they thrive
and feel secure both day and night
