1. The shortest English sentence consists of two parts:

2. The longest English sentence consists of six parts:

4. We use “not” to negate:

6. We use “didn’t” to negate the past simple:
e.g. He played football yesterday.
He didn’t play football yesterday.
e.g. He went to school last Sunday.

7. We use the adverbs of frequency before all verbs except “Verb to Be”:
