Copyright infringement and plagiarism are like theft because

Answer: they are similar in some aspects wherein the main issue or concern focus on the
absence of having a proper author's recognition in using a specific idea or both refer to the act of
taking something that isn't yours and passing it as your own without authorization which we consider
as a deed of theft, however the two are distinctively different. Copyright infringement is using
someone else’s work without obtaining their permission while Plagiarism is claiming attribution for
a work you did not author, or using someone else’s work without proper attribution. In addition,
according to Wood 2020, infringement of copyright is a legitimate problem. Infringing on a copyright
is a criminal offense. Legislators must define what constitutes and does not constitute infringement.
The judicial system determines and enforces the results. Plagiarism, on the other hand, is a serious
ethical and academic problem, dishonesty in the classroom or the workplace. In conclusion,
remember that creating original work and distinguishing your views and opinions from the others
need to work in an ethical and respectable manner. Citing other people's work correctly and giving
credit where credit is due is not only the law, but it's also the right thing to do.
