The poster of Ginoong Tabango
2023 is published on the Tabango
Tambayayong Festivities Facebook
page, the official FB page of Tabango,
Leyte for the fiesta activities. The
purpose of the poster is to endorse the
then upcoming male pageant
competition of the municipality slated
on January 10, 2023. The poster was
posted weeks before the event schedule.
The poster is placed under entertainment category as beauty pageants also
serve the purpose of entertainment. Because the event promotes and involves
showcasing wit, beauty, and talent.

The poster entitled, “Bright Lights, Big
City: Being a Filipino and Breaking into the US
Entertainment Industry,” is a publicity material
that invites filmmakers to participate in a
symposium with some of the renowned
producers, directors, and actors. This was
posted in 2021 wherein the event is scheduled
on June 19, 2021. It is posted on the website of
Asia Society and various social media platforms
such as Facebook and YouTube – via teaser
video. This poster falls under the entertainment
category because the event itself delves into the world of entertainment and film. It
features individuals that works in the said field.

INFORMATIVE:

1.
The poster on the right is published by the
Department of Health (DOH) on 2018 to raise
awareness against Leptospirosis. The poster is
first posted in the central office’s official website
and FB page then the regional, provincial, and
local health offices posted the same material to
inform their respective constituents. It can be
noted that during this year a portion of the country is
flooded due to heavy rainfall and typhoons – most especially Metro Manila. This

poster is considered as informative as it provides all the necessary details about

Leptospirosis. Because the poster contains information including symptoms and
preventive measures to avoid being infected.

2.
The second poster that falls under the
informative category is the anti-theft policy of
the delivery and courier services company,
J&T Express. The poster is posted in the
Naval Branch warehouse and sorting
facility located in front of the Municipal Hall of
Naval. This poster is created due to
rampant allegations and cases of
tampering, swapping, and stealing of
packages by its employees. Thus, the
company posted this to inform and give
comfort to the public that such action is heavily condemned. They also indicated that
the aforementioned acts is illegal and punishable by law which may result to
imprisonment.
Lastly, the poster falls under informative category as it informs the employees
and customers that the company upholds their policy of honesty, reliability, and
accountability to ensure the quality delivery of services.

PERSUASIVE:
1.
The poster is all about the
movement of renowned artist AG
Saño and other personality
explaining the importance and
impact of art in cultivating young
minds to be an advocate of fighting
climate change. The poster is
published on February 18, 2022. This poster can be considered as persuasive
because of the power of art to relay the message to the audience by providing
visually realistic representation of the environmental crisis present. Art has become
an avenue for artists and climate change activists to tell the story to the general
public and encourages them to take action.

2.
This poster is connected to the Anti-
Red Tape Act of 2007 R.A. 9485 that aims to
promote transparency in government
transactions. This poster can be seen in any
government agencies or offices. On the
reasons is because of the rampant “backer
system” cases in our country, the government
implemented this to ensure transparent, fair,
and equal treatment to all transactions. This
falls under persuasive as this does not only
encourages the employees but also the future
customers to always observe and follow this
law.
