 Allow researchers to explore a

range of conditions (cancer, heart
disease, stroke, dementia)

 Contribute greatly to scientific

advances

Make with the help of animal research:

New vaccine, treatment for cancer,
asthma, or HIV,…
SHOULDN’T

For scientific purposes/research -> cause suffering to the animals:

To use a common example of this practice, laboratory mice may
be given an illness so that the effectiveness of a new drug can be
measured
Opponents of such research argue that humans have no right to
subject animals to this kind of trauma, and that the lives of all
creatures should be respected
 Government should invest in developing alternative
methods that can replace using animal experimentations
when doing medical research
For ins: a software program can be developed as a human model
-> new drugs can be tested on the software rather than animals.

it is argued that the procedures performed on living creatures for

purposes of assessing the effectiveness of new medicinal products
can cause them tremendous pain and distress.
 For example, a great number of rats and mice used in behavioral
experiments have to suffer from electric shock and forced
swimming which is considered morally wrong

a common argument heard against the use of animals in drug

trials is that animals do not naturally suffer from as many diseases
as humans do.
 Therefore, many people think inducing these diseases in
animals artificially do not accurately mimic human responses.
They claim that using rats, monkeys or primates in laboratory
experiments is not only unethical but also ineffective, and other
alternatives should be used instead.
SHOULD
Humans are still reliant on animal testing for many purposes,
including developing new medications and checking the safety of
medical products
In fact, the most powerful supercomputers are currently unable
to understand the workings of the human body, and complex
organs such as the brain and heart, which is crucial for medical
research and development. More importantly, due to biological
similarities, medical research needs to be implemented on
animals, which will bring about better outcomes in medical
research compared to other methods. Over many years,
chimpanzees, the closest relatives of humans, have been used to
investigate advanced treatments for cancer and heart disease,
and until now, there is still no better alternative.

Human stand a chance to gain better understanding of animal

kingdom by nurturing them properly in amusement park for the
purpose of people’s recreation
For ins: children – apart from learning from books or pictures,
they are able to go to aquariums or zoo to get a close insight into
a variety types of animals and their behaviors, traits and others
which contributes to cognitive development of the young

Use to serve human’s need as food sources

 Meats such as: chicken, pork or beef are all packed with high-
quality protein and provides people with a wide range of essential
vitamin which benefit people’s health

It is the case that, recently, the use of animals for various
purposes, from providing food and clothing to being used in
medical research has become a subject of concern. From my
perspective, although there are several underlying reasons why
people should prevent it from happening, there are more
reasonable grounds that this action needs supporting.

The idea of using living creatures for the advantages of human

beings is detrimental to some extent. To begin with, it is
believed that animal testing for medical experiments is cruel
and inhumane. To use a common example of this practice, a
great number of laboratory mice have to suffer from electric
shock and forced swimming, causing them tremendous pain
and distress, which is considered morally wrong. Moreover,
animals do not naturally suffer from as many diseases as
humans do. Therefore, inducing these diseases in them
artificially is unlikely to mimic accurately people’s responses.
However, the perks of using living creatures to the society
cannot be refuted. Firstly, human beings stand a chance to gain
a better understanding of the animal kingdom nurtured
properly in the amusement parks for the purpose of recreation.
For instance, apart from learning through books or pictures,
children are able to go to the aquariums or zoos to get a close
insight into a variety of animals with their behaviors, traits and
others which contribute (k có s) to the young’s cognitive
development. Another benefit of animals is serving people’s
need as food sources. Specifically, meat such as chicken, pork
or beef are all packed with high-quality protein and provide
people with a wide range of essential vitamin that benefit
general health.

In conclusion, while animal using can lead to several negative

impacts, there are more compelling reasons why they still bring
advantages to people’s life.

In contemporary times, there has been a growing global concern

regarding the utilization of animals for diverse purposes such as
sustenance, attire, and experimentation in the medical field. While
proponents argue for the discontinuation of these practices, the
opposing viewpoint posits cogent justifications advocating their
support. The prevailing rationale warrants a comprehensive
examination of the numerous grounds favoring the continuation of
these actions, despite the existence of several underlying factors that
warrant prevention.

The idea of utilizing living organisms for the benefits of humans can
be argued to have certain disadvantages. Primarily, the practice of
animal experimentation for medical research is deemed as cruel and
inhumane. For instance, laboratory rodents are subjected to electric
shock and forced swimming, causing them significant pain and
distress, which is perceived as morally objectionable. Additionally,
animals do not naturally encounter as many diseases as humans do.
Consequently, artificially inducing these diseases in animals is unlikely
to precisely replicate human responses.

The advantages of utilizing living organisms for the betterment of

society are undeniable. Primarily, through the strategic development
of amusement parks, individuals can significantly enhance their
understanding of the animal kingdom. By offering children the
opportunity to directly observe various animals in settings such as
aquariums and zoos, a deeper comprehension of their behaviors,
characteristics, and other fundamental attributes can be attained.
This, in turn, aids in the cognitive development of younger
generations. Additionally, animals serve a crucial purpose in meeting
the dietary requirements of humans. In particular, meat products like
chicken, pork, and beef are excellent sources of high-quality protein.
Moreover, they provide individuals with a diverse array of essential
vitamins that promote overall health and well-being.

In conclusion, animal usage can have various adverse effects;

however, its benefits outweigh these drawbacks, thereby contributing
significantly to improving individuals' livelihoods.

For centuries, animals have been used by humans for various
purposes, from providing food and clothing to being used in medical
research.
This fact has become a source of debate between people who support
this action, and those who are against it. Before forming an opinion, it
will be necessary to examine both sides.

On the one hand, it is believed that it is wrong for people to use

animals to their benefit.
Supporters of this view point out that animals often experience
inhumane treatment to produce food for humans. For instance, many
industrial scale poultry farms subject their animals to cramped
conditions from birth until these animals are sent to the
slaughterhouse.
Additionally, it is not necessary to exploit animals for gain, according
to these advocates. Nutritions from animal meat, such as protein, can
be acquired from a vegetarian diet, whereas alternatives, including
cell cultures, exist for medical research so that live animals do not
have to be experimented on.

On the other hand, some people argue that utilizing animals for
benefit is completely acceptable.
A reason for this view is that animals, despite being sentient, are still
largely controlled by their instincts. Owing to this lack of higher
mental capacity, they probably do not deserve the same rights that
humans have.
Furthermore, there are human needs that cannot be fulfilled without
making use of animals. For instance, as there are so many people on
Earth, it is impossible not to use animals for sustenance. If animals
were to disappear overnight, billions would die of starvation.

In my opinion, while it is understandable that animals should live free

from human exploitation, it is not wrong to use animals for humans’
gain.
Nevertheless, mankind should attempt to develop as many
alternatives to help animals avoid needless suffering as possible, but
without harming humans’ own development as a species
