Project Assistant/Data Encoder
Scope of Work: Emergency, Livelihood, WASH, Health (Malaria and TB)
Project Locations: Delta Region, Northern Shan State

 Assist the Project Manager and officer in daily project management tasks, including budgeting,
planning, supervising, monitoring, and coordinating activities to ensure results are in accordance with
Project Documents, and in compliance with donor and CESVI rules, procedures, and policies.
 Assist the Project Officer in control of budget expenditures, for example by preparing payment
documents, compiling financial report data, drafting budget revisions, drafting procurement plans, etc.
 To implement the field activities of projects e for the timely, efficient, and effective implementation

 Ensure implementation of project activities in accordance with the work plans and phased budgets

 Responsible for providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the
objectives of CESVI in Myanmar.
 Support all steps of the procurement process of equipment and consumables for targeted project sites
 Inform about the procurement process and options and improve staff capacity

 Prepare bidding documents based on the donor standard or CESVI standard bidding document
appropriate to the contract type and procurement method

 Ensure that the procurement process and options follow the Procurement Plan;

 Include proper installation, commissioning, use, and maintenance of equipment.

 Compliance with CESVI administrative and management procedures and compliance with CESVI codes

 Assess the institutional procurement environment, identify all procurement steps;

 Provide staff orientation and training in the procurement process and options;

 Review equipment and consumables to be procured and identify possible issues;

 Prepare a brief inception report and propose a procurement implementation plan;

 Provide guidance in preparing list of specifications for all equipment and consumables proposed under
the project to ensure that only quality items will be procured through the competitive bidding
process

 Cause to prepare bidding documents based on donor standard or organization standards

 Provide training for the procurement committee in bid evaluation and award of contract;

 Arrange for sound installation, commissioning, appropriate use and maintenance of equipment and
proper storage and use of supplies including through staff training

Winner of Falling Walls Lab Myanmar 2022


I was the winner to represent Myanmar upon 300 (approx.) participants and 18 finalists of Myanmar
Falling Walls Lab organized by FNF Myanmar with the title of “Breaking the Wall of Non Functional
Laboratories”. The competition was about innovative and impactful ideas on science and technology to a better
change (break the wall) for the world which has to be pitched in 3 minutes, 3 slides presentation on local
(Yangon, Myanmar) and international grounds (Berlin, Germany).
In Berlin, Germany, there were 80 participants from 68 countries to compete in the finale and my
title to compete in the finale was “Breaking the Wall of Science Labs” which information regards to local
competition was upgraded to international data and improvements on the slides whereas the idea remains the
same which is promoting a science lab kit called “Mini Lab” to supplement nonfunctional laboratories in
third, fourth world and redeveloping countries to empower quality education for students living in those
countries. A prototype of Mini Lab was also introduced during the pitch to international audience.
