District Goals:
● Increase the percentage of third-grade students proficient in reading from 40% to 80% by May
2026.
● Increase the percentage of students in grades 3 - 9 proficient in math from 40% to 55% by May
2026.
● Increase the percentage of high school students who are Life Ready and College and/or Career
Ready from a baseline of TBA% in Spring 2022 to 90% in Spring 2026.

School Goals:

● Strengthen Kindergarten Phonemic Awareness, increase benchmark scores to 35% (up from 17%)

● Increase 3rd grade reading proficiency on the AK STAR assessment to 80% and increase the
percentage of kindergarten students at or above reading benchmarks
● Increase attendance to 90% to support growth in reading/foundational skills
