Advantages and disadvantages of online studying

Introduction
Online studying is a taking some course using internet
platforms. Nowadays online studying is becoming more
popular because of technological advancement and also
availability of high connection internet. So universities and
colleges provide many course in online now compared to the
past.
Advantages
The most import advantage of online studying is affordability.
We can avoid much cost if we choose taking online class
instead attending face to face class such as transportation,
accommodation and also living cost. So student save
approximately 50% of studying cost by choosing online
studying. For example assume a student live with his or her
family and has a chance either to study abroad by online or
attend face to face classes there. If that student choose to
study online he or she can reduce much cost like flight cost
and accommodation cost and also cost of living. Furthermore,
online studying is more flexible than physical studying.
Mostly Lectures allow student to take responsibility in class
and he or she is the one who decide how the lesson Is going.
For example they can take break if they get bored or they can
use their phones while the lesson is going.
disadvantages
on the other hand, although there are many advantages of
online studying, there are some disadvantages.
One of the problems that are facing online class students is
less commutation, in online class students must have self
dependence because it’s difficult to ask other student for
help for example if you don’t understand the lesson in
physical class you might have still a chance to communicate
and ask the others to explain to you but in online class in not
possible to get that opportunity because you are alone in
your home. That’s why you also feel lonely in online class. In
addition, some course require to attend classes and do
physical experiment, online study can’t cover that needy for
example engineer students and medicine students need to
attend laboratory for doing practice. In that case is not
enough to take class online only.
Conclusion
Online study has more benefits thought there are few
problems, finally online study is a solution for students have
full time job and want to expend their level of education.
In my opinion, although I realize online study has many
advantage, I prefer face to face study because I like meeting
new classmates and communicate them as face to face.
Perhaps in near future I will change my mind if I get busy.
