Research and Documentation

1. Collection of Data

Consulting relevant sources of Information to begin a research work will provide a basic
understanding of the terrain on study. A detailed understanding on various Agriculture
Universities, Colleges, Research Institutes, and the Scientists, Research Fellows, NGOS and
FPOS working in those areas are very important. Connection needs to be established prior
to gaining Data. The Data can be collected from Journal articles, Research reports,
Conference papers, Thesis, Project reports etc from all the information could be gathered
by direct visits, through interviews, mails and also on the internet. After collecting them
we need to determine the reliability and usefulness of the sources and make a detail study
of the method of notes.

2. Field visits

We need to observe, record, and analyze what we see and hear

Field studies with a detailed plan should be done to understand the processes at ground
level. Field visits will improve the understanding of the processes which we have
understood from the data collected. It will also understand how real world situations are at
present .The comparisons will help analyse the current situations, problem and challenges
so that we could refine existing practices and policies to make things better.

3. Workshops

Monthly workshops or online meetings with the concerned Scientists and Research
Fellows needs to done to understand their observations on field visits and studies they
have done and also discuss our plan of action .

4. Photography , Video and Audio Recordings

Video and audio recordings helps to give observations of the field visits. It also facilitates a
chance to observe our observations and make things easier for documentation.

5.Interpretation and Analysis

Effective analysis and interpretations will be done based on the field observations and from
the data gathered. The Data will be analyzed to determine which observations are worthy
and based on which situations will be looked upon from the view point of an informed
researcher and documentation expert.
