A: FUNCTIONAL SCOPE
Steps Registration Process Timing
1 Documentation prior to submission of 01-15 Working days

2 Submission of hardcopy of complete 16-18 Working days
application to BIS office
3 After submission, Acknowledgement number 19-35 Working days
will be generated by BIS office.
4 Scrutiny of application file by BIS officials 36-66 Working days

5 Assigning of BIS officer for the file. 67-70 Working days (Depends upon
officer availability )
6 Date of Inspection (Audit) will be allotted by 70 to 100 Working days

7 On-site Inspection by BIS officials: Inspection 101-107 Working days (depends upon
Audit industries)
8 Sealed sample are transfer to the given 101-115 Working days (depends upon
laboratory by BIS official countries)
9 Follow up with Test Lab till final report is 115 – 145 Working days

10 After sample testing, Manufacturer would be 146-150 Working days (Depends upon the
required to pay licence fee: Advance minimum time taken by manufacturer)

Basic Aspects:
a) The work shall be done with close cooperation of both the parties.
b) The commencement of the project will be post receiving necessary documents.
c) Quick response in terms of documentation approvals, acceptances, reviews and clarifications
as required at various stages of the project will help to meet project tenure effectively and
efficiently.

B: COMMERCIAL SCOPE:

 a) Additional [GST] on all payments.
b) All govt. fees pertaining to certification shall be paid directly to BIS account or Our
account. Govt fee is tentative and may vary as per IS standard apply and company size.
c) All travel and accommodation expenses of our Consultant(s) will be paid my you.
d) Govt. fee is tentative. This may vary as at the time of processing file.
e) Professional expense (if applicable) will be extra.
f) Quotation is valid only for 30 Days from the date of issue of the same.
g) Certificate would be initially granted for 1 year, which would be further renewable for 2/5 yrs.

C: SCOPE OF WORK:

a) Appointment of dedicated Project Coordinator for project case study & training.
b) Preparation of entire paper work related to the certification.
c) Training of QCI and other preparation before inspection in factory premises if required.
d) Guidance for Samples as per the requirement of Indian Standards Specification
e) Coordination with BIS which includes detailed application preparation, submission, replying
to time to time queries, providing clarifications, multiple visits to BIS offices.
f) FinTax Consultant(s) will Visiting the Manufacturing side at the time of inspection with BIS
officer.

1. Name & Address Proof of Factory (Business Licence with translated copy in English)
2. Form I (To be filled by Manufacturing side)
3. Name and Address Proof of the Office
4. Air nomination form (as per format)
5. Location Map (Google my business registration)
6. Layout of Plant (Rough drawing of placement of machinery in plants)
7. List of Machinery (as per the format)
8. List of Raw Material (as per the format)
9. Test Certificate/Lab report of Raw Materials (of major raw materials used)
10. Brand details (copy of trademark application)
11. Plant Address proof (electricity/landline bill + rent agreement for rented premises)
12. GST certificate
13. MSME Certificate (If applicable)
14. Name of Engineers & Qualification (degree of B.Sc/ B.tech holder)
15. Process flow chart, if applicable (how a toy is made, complete process)
16. Aadhaar card of business owner (of proprietor/partner/director)
17. Medical certificate (For all employees)
18. Pest Control Certificate
