2 слайд "ATB-market" - an enterprise of "ATB" corporation - the largest chain of dynamically
(дайнемеклі) developing Ukraine.
The company was founded in 1993, when the stores of the company "Agrotechbusiness" (агротех) started
the formation of the network of discounters "ATB". In the 2000s, for the first time in Ukraine, the ATB
network introduced a new self-service system in the format of a discounter — a store with a wide range of
goods at wholesale (холсейл) prices.
3 слайд Over a quarter of a century, the enterprise has grown into the largest retail network of a national
scale (скейл). Today, the "ATB" retail chain has more than 1,000 stores in 279 settlements (сетелментс) in
24 regions (ріджеонс) of Ukraine and continues to demonstrate the highest (хаєтс) growth rates. Modern
approaches to the development of a marketing strategy, logistics, quality control of food products and
customer service have ensured (еншуед) the company a leading position in the country's trade industry, both
in terms of the number of customers, turnover (тьонове), and tax expenditures (ікспендічес).
4 слайд The main activity of the "ATB" corporation is the development and management of the largest chain
of food discounters "ATB" in Ukraine. But the corporation also has a meat factory "FAVORIT PLUS" and a
confectionery (конфекшинері) factory "KVITEN".
5 слайд As for the corporation's partner enterprises, they are CIVIL ENGINEERING "RETAIL-
DEVELOPMENT", TRANSPORT LOGISTICS "TRANS LOGISTICS" and WAREHOUSE (верхаус)
LOGISTICS "LOGISTIK UNION".
6 слайд The management of the ATB Corporation consists of the Supervisory (супервайзері) Board, the
Board of Directors (дайректерс), the Directors of the corporation's enterprises and the Directors of the
partner enterprises.
9 слайд The company admitted (едмітет) that it had lost many thousands of workers two months after the
beginning of the Russian invasion (інвейжн) of Ukraine. More than 4,500 resigned (різайнд) and went
abroad, and more than 2,000 went to defend (дівенд) Ukraine. Several thousand had to be laid off due (лейд
оф дью) to store closures. It is impossible to accurately (екьюретлі) calculate the losses in the company,
because they increase every day. As of the beginning of May 2022, the company lost two large distribution
centers in the Kyiv region, which were completely destroyed. More than 200 shops were closed, and some of
them were also destroyed. In some regions, the company worked at a loss, just to provide people with food.
Despite (деспайт) the huge losses, the company does not plan to give up and has started working on
resuming work in the regions. First, those stores that do not need repairs (ріперс) will be opened, and then
others will gradually open.
