OVM Middle East & North Africa is the technical
& marketing operations arm of OVM International
Ltd. in the MENA region; a leading product supplier,
solution provider and applicator in the field of post-
tensioning and other select construction techniques
(mainly for bridge construction).
OVM was among the first Chinese prestressing
& multi-disciplinary engineering products manufac-
turer to be awarded the CE-marking, thus conse-
quently allowed to offer its products & services
across Europe and with no restrictions on the
movement of its goods from one country to the oth-
er within the union. We operate under ISO
9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS
18001:1999; covering quality management, envi-
ronmental management, as well as occupational
health & safety management practices. OVM’s facili-
ties are under continuous inspection and quality-
assurance routines from the world-recognized Ger-

man classification and quality-monitoring entity;
Germanischer Lloyd. OVM systems have been im-
plemented globally, in projects conforming to almost
all major standards; AASHTO, BS, EN, GB, JIS, ETA,
FIP, etc. Our systems have been approved for im-
plementation in many projects by: Dubai Municipali-
ty, Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works, Kuwait National
Petroleum Company, Saudi Ministry of Transport,
Algerian Ministry of Public Works, etc. OVM had the
pleasure to work with a plethora of notable entities
in the construction industry, such as: Saudi Binladin
Group (SBG), Aktor, Yuksel, Tepe Akfen TAV, STFA,
Arab Contractors Company, Darwish Engineering
Emirates, etc.
OVM has also been always involved with re-

With a solid financial standing and an impecca-
ble technical grasp of the pre-stressing technology
along with all of the necessary requirements, OVM
has – for over 40 years now – carefully engineered OVM Manufacturing Facilities
and implemented a plethora of its products in sev-
eral hundred projects in more than 30 countries,
across 4 continents. To this date, OVM had partici-
pated in over 240 projects worldwide, of which 58
were in GCC countries, and 26 within the MENA
region. And notably also, our systems were imple-
mented in over 4 bridge projects in Japan (that you
may find in our extensive pre-qualification docu-
ment). OVM has been involved in projects
from highways, bridges, buildings, water conser-
v a n c y & h y d r o p o w e r, u n d e r g r o u n d
engineering, rock&soil stabilization, deep excavation
and high-speed railway tracks, all the way up to
the nuclear industry. It currently owns over 260 reg-
istered patents for its products in most of Post-tensioning System
the aforementioned fields.
The range of products & services offered by
OVM includes: post-tensioning systems, bearings,
expansion joints, stay cable systems, external cable
systems, anchor block systems and construction
equipment.
OVM Middle East & North Africa has been a
proud and active member of the post-tensioning
institute (Farmington Hills, MI, USA) since 2011 and
of the International Association for Bridge and Kuwait
Structural Engineering (Zurich, Switzerland) since Crown Plaza Hotel
