- Women are most commonly the victims of gender based violence.
- Gender based violence is more common in urban areas than rural areas.
- Gender based violence is mostly done by the youth than elders.
- Most cases of gender based violence go unreported to the police / elders.

- Women are victims because they are physically weaker than males
- Gender based violence mostly happens in urban areas because of larger population totals
- Gender based violence is mostly done by the youth because they lack experience of handling
relationships.

- The department of gender affairs/ Social workers must provide counselling services for victims
- Government should provide education on gender –based violence
