I will talk about my final project animal in danger of extinction in
wich we will talk about human activity and what ideas we can come
up with to solve the problem.
Ideas
Colibri Maravilloso: this hummingbird also
called “Cola de Espátula”, whose scientific
name is loddigesa mirabilis, is located in the
high jungle of the country exactly in the
Utcubamba river basin.
Condor Andino: The condor, also called by its
scientific name “Vultur gryphus” and lives in
the Andean mountains, is one of the
scavenger birds, growing to 100 to 130cm.
This bird is danger due to pollution and
excessive hunting that exists in its hábitat.
Delfin rosado de las amazonas: “El delfin
rosado” live in the amazonas, its scientific
name is inia geoffrensis, it is a species that
lives in the fresh Waters of the amazon. They
are very striking since their skin changes from
gray to Pink according to age. These dolphins
are in danger of extinction due to human
origin such as the contamination of the river
with heavy metals, ilegal mining and also the
hunting of these dolphins that use them as
bait to Hunt other fish.
Activities
This hummingbird is in danger of extinction
due to high pollution and massive logging in
its hábitat. What should be done in this case
for the conservation of this hummingbird is to
stop polluting and each time a tree is cut
down, replant a tree so that its hábitat is not
seen as lost and thus conserve the species
since Perú alone has 133 specimens.
The condor is in a serius situation of danger of
extinction because farmers place food with
poisons since they consider the condor a
danger to their livestock, on the other hand
they destroy hábitat to occupy them, of which
the condor is in one of the animals. In a
serious situation. What should be
implemented is to reserve their hábitat and
reach an agreement with the ranchers to stop
poisoning them.
In order to restore the “delfin rosado”,
everyone should not throw garbage into the
rivers and pollute with other substances. On
the other hand, we must also raise awareness
that if we continue hunting them in an
enormous way, this species Will end up
disappearing.
