What does emptiness feels like?

Losing purpose and everything

Not a single word is encouraging

It’s a battle to continue or to end;

Just cowardly accepting, it is where I can just stand.

Life suddenly becomes nonsensical

You’re alive but it’s just physical

Thinking what to do next

Losing mind that you haven’t started anything yet.

You wanted to put on a smile

But you also want to pour those tears just to cry

You’re not happy and you’re not even sad

Nothing feels good and everything feels bad.

Then came someone approached you

And then questioned about “How do you do?”

You responded immediately “I’m always fine, and how about you?”

The same façade always in your to-do.

 Looking like a puppet of misery

Dwelling on the abyss of agony

It’s the personification of emptiness

Physically alive, but deep within you’re lifeless.

And that is how emptiness feels like.
