FOLKTALE

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the student is expected to:

a) Define unfamiliar words found in the folktale.


b) Show understanding of the folktale through answering comprehension check question.
c) Show appreciation of Filipino Culture through understanding literature of other countries.
d) Relate theme to previous experiences.

B. MOTIVATION
“The teacher will play a game called a “4 pics 1 word.” The teacher will give the student a
list of words and you are just going to guess the correct term for the pictures shown.”

C. LESSON PROPER
“The teacher will read the story of outwitting a crocodile, but for better understanding the
teacher present a summary of outwitting a crocodile through video clip.”

D. ABSTRACTION
Oral Recitation

2. Who are the characters in the story? Describe each

4. How did Sang Kancil cross the river?
