Semi- Detailed Lesson Plan

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students shall be able to:
• identify the message of the story;
• appreciate the importance of the story of the moth to the life of Rizal; and
• write a short slogan about the story

II. SUBJECTMATTER

III. PROCEDURE
A. Preparation
The teacher will begin the class with a prayer; she will ask to ready themselves for today’s
discussion. Afterwards, she will introduce some agreements to present formality and organization
in the class discussion. Then will start checking the attendance.
• Review
The teacher will have recapitulation of the previous topic.

B. Lesson Proper
1. Motivation/ Opening Activity
The teacher will have a game “4 pics one word” and ask students what it does imply.

2. Discussion
a. Presentation of Objective
(Let the class read your objective and use PowerPoint presentation in presenting your
objectives.)
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
• identify the message of the story;
• appreciate the importance of the story of the moth to the life of Rizal; and
• write a short slogan about the story

The teach will ask the students to predict the text that they will discuss later on.

While listening, there will be visuals that can help students better understand.

As the students begin to listen, the teacher would task the student to listen for the gist

Accuracy 20%

V. Evaluation
Write an essay regarding this question: Does the story imply an important message? Justify your
answer.

VI. Assignment
Listen to the story of Little Prince.
