II. Home Living and Environmental Conditions

The family owns a two-story house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, adequate water supply, and well
ventilation. The neighborhood is not congested with satisfactory cleanliness and sanitation. Each family
member has their own privacy. They own 3 dogs and 2 cats that are all situated inside the house.
Although they have a lot of pets, the house stays tidy and clean. They take out their trash every day as
well as clean the house. They do general cleaning at least once a month. They drink mineral water and
cook their food using gas stove. They own a refrigerator where they store their perishable goods. There
are indoor plants and a mini-garden located situated at their garage. Their location is convenient since
they are near groceries, markets and hospitals.

The daughter had been given vaccines when she was still an infant. Both the mother and the father were
vaccinated with anti-influenza shots last year. Recently, the family has been vaccinated with a Covid-19
vaccine – they are fully vaccinated.
V. Healthy Lifestyle Practices/Family Lifestyle
They are aware of how they should practice and live a healthy life but due to Covid-19, their lifestyle
became a bit sedentary compared to before. Pre-covid, they would jog every Sunday and would engage in
home exercises at least 3 times a week. Now, the father still has a rather active lifestyle by biking almost
every day (at least 5 times a week). The mother seldom exercises at home due to heavy work load, same
as the daughter. They stated that they gained a few pounds due to their changed lifestyle. In contrary to
that, they still have a healthy meal where there is a variety of food that is suitable for their diet like having
vegetables in every main course. However, they do not eat at the right time, for example: they eat
breakfast at 12 pm, lunch at 5 pm and dinner at 10 pm.
