Rules and Guidelines
1. Players must be a resident of Mabinay.
2. There are only 10 slots/team. First come, first serve bases.
3. No age limit as long as physically fit.
4. Team must consist of a maximum of 12 players.
5. Those who are in the list, where the only allowed to play. However, those players who
can’t play during the elimination round are no longer allowed to play in the semifinals
and finals.
6. In the spirit of the game, the decision of the referee is final. If the referee’s decision is in
doubt, only the team captain will be allowed asking for any explanation.
7. The tournament organizing committee and SK chairman will not be responsible for any
injuries.
8. Jersey uniform of players must have a number. Duplication of jersey number within
teammates is strictly not allowed.
9. If a team is not present or incomplete, each team will be given 15 minutes
to be
completed.
10. Each category (men and women) will be in two brackets.
11. During the elimination single round robin will be applied in 2 out of 3 sets.
12. Since, there is two brackets in each category we will be identified the top 2 teams base
on their standing during elimination round.
13. During semi finals it would be 3 out of 5 sets. Matches are as followed,
 Rank 1 VS Rank 2
 Rank 1 VS Rank 2
14. Rule of succession will be applied.
15. And most importantly, each team has already paid the registration fee of Php 500.00
No registration fee, no play.

16. If a tie exists between two teams at the completion of the schedule,
the winner of the game played by the two teams involved (head-to-head
match-up) will be given priority ranking. If a tie exists between three or
more teams, the points for and against method will be used with a cap at
20 points per game.

17. 3 or More Team Tie Depending on the number of teams, you may
also run into a situation way you have more than 2 teams finish with the
same record. In this instance you should:

 Step 1: Check the record of each team against the other teams
that have tied. If one team has a better record, they would be
declared the winner. If there is still at tie, move to step 2.

 Step 2: Tally up the point differential in each match against the

other tied teams. The team that has the largest point differential
should be declared the winner. If there is still at tie, move to step 3.

 Step 3: Use total points scored against the other tied teams. If
there is still at tie, use total points scored against all teams. If there
is still a tie, move to step 4.
  Step 4: At this point, just pull out a coin and do it the old fashion
way.
