of the world. It can affect anyone irrespective of
age, sex or social Status. This causes a lot of
suffering to the patients, family and the
community. It is necessary that everybody
should have adequate knowledge regarding
certain factors about the disease like its cause,
spread, detection, treatment and prevention.

tuberculosis  Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a bacterium
called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacteria
usually attack the lungs, but tuberculosis
bacteria can attack any part of the body such as
the kidney, spine, and brain. If not treated
properly, tuberculosis disease can be fatal.
Tuberculosis is one of the most prominent
mycobacterium diseases known to humankind.
 It is an ancient disease.

 TB spread from person to person by airborne


transmission. Infected person release droplet

 TB is not only a problem for the person
suffering from it or their families but a public
health problem of the entire world.
