There, relational tensions emerged, including the challenges of leaving family and friends behind to form

new bonds with peers. In addition, it focuses on time-related stressors, which include difficulty
maintaining a healthy work-life balance, effective time management, and procrastination. Meeting
deadlines stands out as a ubiquitous challenge among students, closely related to their academic
pressures, including course deadlines and the fear of academic failure (Pandit, 2023).

Therefore, the effectiveness of different persuasive strategies in motivating individuals may vary
depending on their stages of behavior change (Mulchandani et al., 2023). Effective task prioritization
and strategic sharing of connections help avoid unnecessary distractions and increase focus on
important tasks, creating a manageable and stress-resistant work environment (Chandrasekara et al.,
2022; Takagi-Stewart et al., 2023). Studies of students trained to use the matrix highlighted positive
results, including the development of positive attitudes towards time management, efficient use of time,
prioritization of academic tasks, and acquisition of skills to maintain a balance between academic
responsibilities and personal family. time (Monsalve et al., 2020; Murphy et al., 2022) This approach
promotes a balanced schedule and prevents overload, improves student well-being and academic
performance, and promotes personal and academic growth for students.

This highlights the need to develop persuasive technology (PT) with user-centered design (UCD) to
promote time management behaviors and improve perceptions of time management. As part of a larger
project investigating effective time management behaviors of college students, this article contributes to
existing research by designing and evaluating a user-centered persuasive mobile application (SortOut).
We focus on implementing organization as the most effective time management factor that allows
students to feel in control of their time (Alhasani et al., 2022)..

A recent study on the academic mindset of high school students by Ahmed et al. (2021) found that
students who had high self-confidence in their ability to achieve learning outcomes had higher academic
achievement than those who did not. The study also found that several factors, such as parental
support, teacher feedback and self-efficacy beliefs, influenced students' confidence in their academic
success. students in the same classroom (taught by the same teacher) where their teacher supports a
more established (or growth) mindset—and that these perceptions differ from their perceptions of
other teachers in different classrooms (Kroeper et al., 2022).\ n Self-control , on the other hand, refers
to whether students resist short-term temptations to pursue higher interests (related to delayed
gratification and self-discipline) (Gogoi and Bora, 2021).

Adequate organisation and priority can also be ensured for effective time management. Prioritisation is
the process by which tasks are assigned importance and when they are to be completed. When you use
the prioritisation process, it means that each individual's energy, time, attention and focus is devoted to
a particular task from start to finish.
There are a number of advantages to priority, which must be taken into account. It makes work
effective to start with a prioritisation. To complete tasks on time and without interruptions, it is vital
that workload be high. It also aids in the prevention of stress, anxiety, physical exhaustion, and mental
breakdowns. Another advantage is that prioritising and time management are essential life skills
(Tumanishvili, 2022)

It may be possible to accelerate project completion with effective time management and organization.
While some people seem to be naturally organized, the vast majority of humans are struggling with
becoming structured. It enables people to find anything they need fast when organized,Contributor

Communication is shaped by behavior. Bad behavior is often the result of a shortage of skills, according
to Gent2022. A child may hurl a pencil across the room when he is unable to express his displeasure
orally, and if he feels socially rejected, he can respond by shoving one of his classmates onto the
playground. Azizi et al. (2019) discovered that students who used digital media excessively had lower
academic achievement than those who are not.

The habit is consistent with the findings of previous studies. Due to late night web activities, students
may need more time for their studies and have difficulty sleeping. Insufficient sleep and daytime
drowsiness have also been linked to low academic performance in the literature (Marta et al., 2020).

Time management is not only beneficial for career development; it also has an important impact on
personal and professional life. Prachi (2019) shows the advantages of time management, including: Time
management makes people more punctual and disciplined. Effective time management makes it easier
for one to organise.

An efficient management of time will increase the individual's morale and strengthen his confidence.
The people who stick to their timetable are the ones who achieve their goals and objectives in the
shortest possible time. The efficient management of time is important for the rapid advancement of an
employee. Stay at the top for an extended period of time. Better planning and more accurate forecasts
are helped by better management of time. People are less prone to stress and anxiety when they do
their jobs on time. Time management enables individuals to focus on their tasks and activities in the
workplace. The ability of individuals to engage in meaningful and effective employment appears to be
increasingly dependent on their ability to acquire career related competences, b. Brockstock et al.,
2019).
