INTRODUCTION
Metaphysics is a branch of Philosophy that explores fundemental question about reality,
existence, the nature of things, the existence of soul, possibility of immortality. It
examines concepts that go beyond the physical realities.
DISCUSSION
i. Cosmology
Is a branch of Philosophy dealing with the origin and general structures of the universe. It deals
with it’s parts,elements and law of nature especially in such characteristics as space, time and
causality.
Its contribution to education
1. Motivates students
It helps students and motivates them to perceive careers in science
2. Enhances critical thinking
Cosmology is important for critical thinking and problem solving schemes. It analyzes
and evaluated different theories that require critical thinking and very essential for
success
3. Inspiration and Wonder
Learning about the vastness and complexity of the cosmos can inspire awe and wonder in
students, fostering curiosity and a desire to explore and understand the world around
them.

II.Theology
Is a branch of Philosophy that deals with the problems about the existence and nature
of God. It deals with questions such as is there God? And if God exists what is his
attributes, If God is powerful how is it that he exists.
Its contribution to education
1. Moral and Ethical Development: Theology provides a framework for
understanding moral and ethical principles, which are essential aspects of
education. It helps students develop a sense of right and wrong, guiding their
behavior and decision-making.
2. Cultural and Historical understanding
study of theology introduces students to the beliefs, practices, and traditions of
various religious cultures throughout history. This fosters an appreciation for
diversity and helps students understand different perspectives.
3. Critical Thinking and Analysis: Theology encourages critical thinking and
