Description: Exercise graphics

1. We start with our Back 4 against two


opponent ST’s. Objective is to cross
the marked yellow line (DEF 3rd) (4 v
2).
2. We then increase the area to the
MID 3rd. We now include our 4
midfielders and 4 Opponent
midfielders. (Progression from DEF
3rd to MID 3rd) (8 v 6). We can add
2FBs (OPP) if progression gets easy
for our team. (8 v 8)
3. Now, we add 2 ST’s and 2 OPP. CB’s.
Objective is to cross the yellow
marked line in the ATT 3rd and score
in either of the two goals.
4. Finally, we move to 11 v 11.

1. We start with Server or GK playing


out the ball to our CB or FBs against
two Opp. ST’s (4 v 2).
2. Once play progresses to mid-third,
we use both the FBs to either play
combination passes or get involved in
switching play. (8 v 6). Objective is to
cross the half-way line, keep
possession and score in either of the
2 goal posts. (Regain possession of
ball after losing it in Mid-3rd).
3. Two CBs (opponent) and 2 STs are
added to make it 11 v 11.

1. We start with orientation-


functional play. One winger
against 4 DEF. We include one
more winger to make it 4 v
2(Working on defending
principles)
2. We then add two opponent
strikers to make it 4 v 4.
3. After that, midfielders are going
through a 4 v 4 in midfield. The
defending midfielders on getting
possession can score in mini goals.
4. Now, (4 DEF +4 MID vs 2 OPP. ST +

removing the curved lines. To score in either
of two goal posts.
