8. Technical Documentation Required
Technical documents are required from the "Hop Long Tech Documentation from OEMs"
9. SAFETY:
• Control electric cabinets of machine must have LOTO lock, emergency which Operator
can reach easily.
• Must grounding for electric source of machine, Conveyors, Motors etc
• If use electric cabinet, must have ELCB system
• The control buttons as stop, start, emergency, Rheosat + speed cork, power signal cork,
LOTO point must put in position that is easy to operate and have name card by Vietnamese or
English clearly
• Heating: monitoring temperature and can be adjust easily. Surface temperature less than
40 degree.
• Compress air: The gauge can be show pressure and can be adjust pressure and have
LOTO
• Interlock: Have safety map and position interlock energy input and warning position
label. Example: electric, compress air, gas…
• Circuit breaker, disconnector, relay … by from SCHNEIDER or ROCKWELL
• All cover ensures safety instance and dimension that to meet MDLZ standard (see below
picture1)
•Meet interlock CAT 3 PLD (see below picture number 2).

Safety distances:

• The general rules for safety distances are defined by standard ISO 13857
– Reaching up (“out of reach”)
– Reaching over (not advised)
– Reaching through openings (most common)
– Reaching under (specific attention to cleanability)
• More specific standards (for groups of machines or types of machines) can allow less strict
rules.
– This is specifically true for packaging machines that have openings for the
entrance and exit of products

• Some risks are “out of reach” and don’t need to be guarded. Be aware that this can change
if someone places a ladder, stair, step, working platform...

Irregular shapes, obstruction and detection:
For openings that have an irregular shape, the smallest round opening around this irregular
shape should be considered as basis for the Hand/arm
calculations.
If you cannot solve it in a different way, you may try to obstruct the path to the dangerous
area, making it impossible to reach further.

1. Brief introduction:
Mainly used in agricultural products, food, chemical industry, such as corn seeds, fertilizer
and other granular materials, can complete automatic measuring, automatic filling and other
work. It is suitable to work with full automatic packaging machine together.

Details of Bag Folding and Sewing Machine&
Bag Conveyor for Sewing Machine
1. Feature:
The sewing machine is widely used in food, feed, chemical, mining, coal, port and other
industries to contain powder, sealing sewing use granular articles of plastic woven bags, sacks,
bags, paper bags and other packaging bags. It adopts light controlled switch to control starting
and stopping, automatic cutting of electronically controlled pneumatic cutter. A solenoid
controlled automatic wire braid cutting device. The bag is fed into the machine, by the presser
foot, contact actuating device, the proximity switch start sewing operation, folding&sealing
automatically after the start, automatically reset device, close to switch off the machine will stop
automatically when the cutter solenoid controlled start action, automatic cutting plait. Then, the
cutter is automatically reset.
This product is composed of two motor control systems and belt conveyor system. The
whole machine is controlled by a photoelectric switch to start and stop. Two governors adjust
the speed of the sub-lot and the sign-sending motor respectively. The speed can be adjusted
arbitrarily according to the speed of the production line.
