LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT

Nama ketua kelompok :

Anggota :

1. Jelaskan apa yang dimaksud dengan elektrolit kuat dan elektrolit lemah? Apakah terdapat
perbedaan dengan elektrolit sejati dan elektrolit yang potensial sebagai elektrolit? Jelaskan!

2. Seperti halnya larutan non elektrolit, larutan elektrolit juga memiliki sifat koligatif larutan.
Turunkan persamaan untuk penurunan tekanan uap larutan elektrolit

3. Turunkan persamaan kenaikan titik didih dan penurunan titik beku larutan elektrolit
berdasarkan grafik potensial kimia larutan berikut.

4. Turunkan juga persamaan tekanan osmotik larutan elektrolit

5. Kerjakan soal-soal berikut ini

It is found that 2.20 g of polymer dissolved in enough water to make 300 mL of solution has
an osmotic pressure of 7.45 torr at 20 °C. Determine the molecular mass of the polymer.

Why do we use osmotic pressure to find molecular weight and not one of the other
colligative properties?

6. Jelaskan mekanisme penghantaran listrik dalam larutan elektrolit, gunakan gambar sel
elektrolitik untuk menjelaskan
7. Coulometer digunakan untuk mengukur jumlah listrik yang mengalir dalam rangkaian.
Jelaskan cara kerja coulometer dan jelaskan perhitungannya menggunakan hukum Faraday

8. Kerjakan soal-soal berikut

Molar conductivity of 0.005 M KCl is 144 Scm2 mol-1. Calculate its electrolytic conductivity in
SI units (Sm-1).
*(Hint: 1m2 = 104 cm2; mol/L or mol/dm3 convert to mol m-3).
9. In a certain conductivity cell, the resistance of a 0.01 M KCl solution is 150 . The known
molar conductivity of the solution is 141.27 -1 cm2 mol-1. Calculate the cell constant (Kcell).
*(Kcell unit is cm-1)
10. Using the same conductance cell as in example 2, a student measured the resistance of a
0.10 M NaCl solution to be 19.9 . Calculate the experimental value of the molar
conductivity of this solution.
11. In order to determine the molar conductivity of a 0.05 M solution of AgNO 3, you need to
measure the solution resistance in a conductivity cell and found that R = 75.8 . Then, in the
same cell, a 0.02 M KCl solution had a resistance of 157.9 . Given that the accepted molar
conductivity of the KCl solution is 0.013834 -1 m2 mol-1, calculate the molar conductivity of
the AgNO3 solution.
