Meeting your students’ needs as How does this lesson connect to the interests and cultural backgrounds of your students?
people and as learners
Students are aware that all fables have something to learn a moral. Everyone needs to know how to
behave and respond appropriately to bad situations. Students can connect the moral they learn to their
own lives. I will ask students to discuss how they can use this moral in their lives.
How does this lesson connect to/reflect the local community?
They can take the moral they learn from these characters and share it with their community or connect it
to a way their community uses or does not use the moral in the story.
I will ask students to have this moral in their community.
