SHORT NARRATIVE ESSAY

I had been practicing my presentation for days, confident that I knew every detail
inside and out. But as soon as I stood up in front of the entire class, my mind went
blank. All eyes were on me, waiting for me to start speaking. I glanced down at my
notes, only to realize they were nowhere to be found. Panic set in, as I desperately tried
to remember what I had prepared.

I stumbled over my words, trying to piece everything together and be coherent.

My classmates exchanged confused glances, clearly wondering what was going on. I
could feel the sweat forming on my forehead as I struggled to keep my composure. And
then it happened - I accidentally blurted out the wrong information, completely ruining
my entire presentation. My face was bright red and I could feel all my classmates’ eyes
on me. How embarrassing!

I started laughing to make it look like a funny mistake, but I just wanted the ground
to open up and swallow me. The embarrassment was too much to bear, and I couldn't
wait for it to be over.

Needless to say, it was a presentation I will never forget, for all the wrong reasons.
