TASK (TITLE): Hero for a Day
PROCEDURE (STEPS, task designing):
1. Preparation
 Introduce the concept of national heroes and their significance in Philippine
history.
 Provide students with a list of national heroes and brief descriptions of their
lives and contributions.
 Assign each student a national hero to research and study.

2. Research and Script Writing


 Students research their assigned national hero, focusing on their background,
notable deeds, and historical context.
 Based on their research, students write a script or monologue from the
perspective of their assigned national hero, highlighting key events or
experiences.
 Emphasize the importance of accuracy and empathy in portraying the national
hero.

3. Rehearsals
 Allocate time for students to rehearse their scripts, focusing on delivery, tone,
and gestures.
 Encourage students to embody the personality of their assigned national hero.

4. Performance Day
 Arrange a performance day where students will present their impersonations
to the class.
 Each students takes turns presenting their script, staying in character
throughout the performance.

PROCEDURE (STEPS, task designing):
1. Research
 Provide a list of national heroes to the students.
 Instruct students to choose one national hero they find most interesting.
 Ask students to research their chosen hero's background, achievements, and
contributions to Philippine history.

2. Scrapbook Creation
 Each student will create a scrapbook detailing their chosen hero's journey.
 The scrapbook should include:
o A cover page with the hero's name and an illustration or photograph.
o A timeline of significant event in the hero's life.
o Personal reflections on the hero's motivations, struggles, and triumphs.
o Images, drawings, or collages representing key moments in the hero's
journey.
o Quotes or excerpts from historical documents related to the hero.

3. Impersonation
 After completing the scrapbook, students will prepare a short presentation
where they impersonate their chosen hero.
