Kimball Park Dog Park & Tot Lot and Las Palmas Park Dog Park CIP No. 23-06 El Toyon Park Improvements Project CIP 22-26
This project will construct new dog parks at both Kimball Park and Las Palmas Park, as well as This project is funded by Prop 68, the State of California Parks & Water Bond of 2018 through a

The project will construct a community event and farmers market area, pickleball courts with
fencing, community garden, Class I bikeway, walking paths, new shade structures, new
scoreboard, public art, sports warm up area, a gateway entry, security cameras, new lighting,
landscaping and signage throughout the park.
In addition, this project will also renovate existing tennis courts, artificial turf sports field,
basketball courts, dog park, playground, fitness area, bleachers, parking lot, and restrooms.
Anticipated Timeline*
- Finalize Design: October 2023
- Advertise Project for Bid: November 2023
- Award Contract: February 2024
- Begin Construction: February 2024
- Complete Construction: February 2025

The Library’s Tech Lab offers 3D design and printing classes on Wednesdays from 3 p.m.
