Subject: Guideline for Your Professional Practice in Accounting and Finance

Higher Education institutions including Salale University offer Professional Practices for their
undergraduate students to provide a smooth transition from the academic world to the working
environment. Professional Practice provides many advantages to students ranging from gaining
experiences and obtaining career-related direction to networking. Institutions offering
Professional Practice programs benefit through increased cooperation and rapport with the
industry. Employers also benefit from these programs, as Professional Practice can provide them
with inexpensive help, new ideas, and potential future employees. Therefore, Professional
Practice benefits students, institutions, and employers as well.

The rationale in offering the Professional Practice or practical attachment in Accounting and
Finance as part of the academic program is that students benefit from these Professional Practice
experiences and exposure. This course examines the underlying assumptions, values,
experiences, and skills that impact and inform students' professional practice approach. Using
case studies as a beginning, students explore some of the key issues existing in the workplace.

This course introduces the various working options available in a business context so that
students can make appropriate choices in the future. Students will gain confidence in their ability
to communicate by practicing and receiving feedback related to Accounting and Finance skills.
Through this critical inquiry process, it is expected that students will further develop their
understandings of their practices and develop aspects of these practices. Besides, students will
try to correlate what they learn in the classroom with that of the market place.

The report is expected to contain the following major items:

i. Historical background of the organizations right from its establishment.

ii. A detailed description of the assignment that you were handing.

Do not forget that, it must be directly related to Accounting and Finance.

iii. Description of the strength and weaknesses of the assignment that you were handling
related to Accounting and Finance.
iv. Description of the threat and opportunities of the organization where you were doing
your professional practices.
v. Possible problem (if any) that you have noticed concerning the specific task that you
were handling, and the working conditions in the organization, and staff relationship.
vi. A possible solution for the aforementioned problems that would like to suggest and
