STAGE 5: APPLY THE FUTURE FACTUAL CONDITIONAL:
Taking into account the structure of Future factual conditional, write 10 sentences using the verbs
you find in the box found below, choose ten of these verbs; then publish the sentences in the
Writing task forum. They must be written for you, not copied from any web page.

1. If you save money, you will travel to England.


2. If she fixes the bike, she will go to the park.
3. If the students don’t study, they won’t have good grades.
4. If they sleep until late, they won’t finish their homework.

Quickly scan the text of Module 1, Topic 10; read the title, and identify the global features that
make it up. Then complete the following chart:

Write in english the meaning of the following 6 Phrasal verbs found in the reading:

Underline these phrasal verbs in the text, take a screenshot and send this in the Collaborative

STAGE 7: READING:
Read the text of Topic 10, underline the main idea of the reading (you can use Word or any other
tool), take a screenshot of this and publish this in the forum; then answer the following questions:

1. What activities the students had to develop in the Italian class?


They practiced a vocabulary activity from the previous class, they also practiced cards with the
new vocabulary with pronunciation and spelling, then they practiced activities to “fill in the
blanks”.

2. What is the main idea of the text, write with your word? Explain with your own words.
The main idea of the text is that a man thought back on his high school years, specially his italian
teacher, she was very strict but she thought him in the right way now he remembers her and he is
very thankful to her because he can speak some italian in an international Hotel.

STAGE 8: APPLY THE PHRASAL VERBS IN A TEXT.:


Choose 7 phrasal verbs from the exercise of Topic 10 and Topic 11, and write a text where you
use them. You have to underline these phrasal verbs to distinguish them in the text.

My grandparents old farm

Yesterday I stood up early to go to my grandparents old farm, I left the house and sat down in my
car, when I arrived there I thought back on my days living with them. They used to get up us
very early to milk the cows, then we used to drink that milk still hot from the bucket. In the
afternoon my grandparents told us stories about their youth, they took out some pictures to show
the way they lived. At night when we were in the beds, my grandma came into the bedroom with
a cup of hot chocolate and pandebono. Now that I look up their photographs, I remember them
with love and that I lived my best days close to them in that beautiful old farm.
