(PLC) Discussion for next W.I.N. group cycle

Main Idea Notes

Meeting Logistics ● Printouts of Kinder students’ progress monitoring scores were

given to each member
○ Progress monitoring papers showed students’ scores
monthly throughout the school year for knowledge of
capitals, lower case, sounds, sight words, overall
percentage, as well as their DIBELS scores
● One staff member took notes and emailed these out at the end
of meeting
● Each member came with notes prepared about how each of
their students are doing in their W.I.N. groups and how well
they work with each other

CMAS ● Will begin on April 8th - April 11th and continues April 15th -
17th
○ prepare to take on extra students during W.I.N time on
these dates

Read Plans ● Ayanna is now in blue

● Magic and Violet will not need to continue their read plans
● Daleyza will need to continue her read plan
○ Need to schedule meeting with mom to discuss what the
read plan is and how to better support her at home

Progress Monitoring ● Crosby, Amity and Ezekial all showed decreasing scores
Scores ● Johnnie has show drastic improvement and is ready to move to
a higher W.I.N group
● Cameron can move up from lowest group and allow Jaimes to
give more individualized instruction to the remaining students
in that group
● Because Heather and Marge have student teachers, their W.I.N
groups can have more students (6-7) which will allow other
groups to have smaller sizes
● Exikial has shown great improvement in his group so he could
benefit from being pushed in a higher group
