MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN
Highway Music Festival
AND
Hotel Yak & Yeti
This memorandum of Understanding is made and entered into on August 30 th, 2022 by
and between,
Yak & Yeti Hotel Limited Kathmandu, a public limited company duly incorporated under
the laws of Nepal with its registered office at Durbar Marg, Kathmandu, Nepal, hereinafter
referred to as “Hotel”.
AND
THEREFORE, now both the parties agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth
here in below:
1. Hotel Yak & Yeti will work with the Client as Hospitality Partner (conditions apply)
2. The Hotel Yak & Yeti logo will go on all of your creative used for promotions.
3. Hotel Yak & Yeti will get Social Media promotional mileage – On feed post and stories.
(Minimum of 10 posts 10 stories and videos)
4. The client agrees to take meals at the Hotel restaurant during the time of stay.
5. One video interview with Lucky Ali during stay at Hotel Yak & Yeti.
6. 10+ Complimentary passes to show.
7. Artist photo with GM.
8. The Client agrees to clear all outstanding dues before departure.
a) Hotel Yak & Yeti is given appropriate credits and visibility, where possible (e.g:
venue credit & services etc). The details of such visibility has been outlines above.
b) Hotel Yak & Yeti is presented on a positive note as one of the pioneer hospitality
business in Nepal.
c) Any third party account about Hotel Yak & Yeti is fact-checked with the Hotel
before publishing the same in any form of media.

Buffet will be operational for a period of 03 hours in order to maintain the quality of the food on offer. Any
increase in the duration of the buffet will have to be approved by the hotel kitchen team.
ENTERTAINMENT POLICY
All entertainments and musical events detail needs to be discussed with the hotel prior to the event. The hotel
reserves the right to reduce the volume levels if it exceeds more than normal & causes inconvenience to other
customers in the hotel. The fixed timings for loud music are up to 8PM in the garden & 10 PM inside any halls
within the hotel.
GUEST CONDUCT
The hotel reserves the right to admission and entry inside the premises, if the behavior of any guest causes
inconveniences to others within hotel premises. The hotel management reserves the right to take away such
guests from the hotel premises in order to maintain smooth execution of your function.
In the event of the failure to inform the Hotel, of the change in the purpose of the event or in the case of Hotel
decides not to accept the function with the changed purpose, the Hotel will exercise their right to terminate/cancel
the contract without any notice period to the Client. Hotel will not be responsible for any damages or loss to the
Client due to this. The Hotel will also forfeit the advance made till the date of cancellation of the event.
BRANDING POLICY
Event materials like stage, lights and sounds, banners, standees, flex, frames, cables, brochures, hand outs etc;
all such event materials brought to the venue, must be taken away, from the halls and public areas, by the client
or their nominated event management company on the same day after the event is closed. In case of multiple-
day events; such branding materials should be removed on the last day of the event after closure.
Any branding material display in Atrium and Grand Staircase is strictly Prohibited by the hotel. Please notify the
hotel about any such branding material.
Any Branding material deemed unfit for the hotel reputation would be removed from the hotel premises.
Any such branding materials left behind at the hotel will be considered as scrap and will be taken away to the
garbage storage and then discarded.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY –
Flying drone within the hotel premises require prior permissions from the following government authorities before
use of drones within hotel premises.
Permission from municipality office.
Recommendation letter from CDO office, after the permission from municipality.
Submit the above 2 documents to Police Headquarters and receive security clearance letter from Police
Headquarters.
Submit the above 3 documents to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal in Drone operation permission
department.
Should any of the above terms & conditions are not adhered to, the Client agrees that the Hotel reserves the right
to terminate/cancel the contract, without prior notice with no responsible for any damages or loss to the Client
due to this. Hotel will also forfeit the advance made till the date of cancellation of the event.
