Collaborative Activity

Names of Proponents;
A. Participants
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology 2C are the target participants of this activity, with the
age that ranges from 19-23 years old. The participants are composed of five (5) males and
twenty-five (25) females; with the total number of thirty (30) participants.
B. Number of Participants
There are a total of thirty (30) expected participants in this activity .
The facilitators’ perceived date will be on the 16th of May 2024, 2:30-4:30 P.M.
D. Venue
Training will be held in Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) at LSA
Building, 3rd floor; Room 317
A need to foster their inter-personal relationship and connection with one another for
them to be more efficient when working in a group.
When the training or lesson is positive, the participants work well together. When
dynamics are poor, the group's effectiveness is reduced. In order for the training to be
successful, the participant must dwell on the activity by being participative and foster the
various skills for collaboration.
General Objective:
The learners will be able to know the collaborative work leadership and skills; able to
apply the collaborative skills to future tasks.
Specific Objectives:
1. To provide fun and collaborative activity by upholding communication between the
participants and the facilitators.
2. To highlight the importance of collaboration
3. To help create mutual respect and understanding to attain and
maintain interaction
Objectives:
1. To provide opportunities for the group to bond and have a collaborative and fun time
together.
2. To improve problem solving skills by upholding creative integration of needs
and joint ownership of decisions.
3. To develop collaborative skills such as; adaptability, communication, time
management, conflict resolution and active listening skills.
Instructions:
To play this game, each group will be given a puzzle to solve. Each puzzle contains a
question that needs to be solved, to which the participants will then answer. Each group will
be given 20 minutes to finish the activity. The team that finishes first at the given time limit
will be held as the winner.
PROCESSING
After carrying out the activity, the facilitators will record their observations of the
environment and utilize observation as a method of data collection. It can be applied to assess
how various individuals behave in conditions that are controlled (overt) or uncontrolled
(covert).

1. What are some approaches you take when collaborating with others?
2. Are you able to make use of the collaborative skills on completing the
activity?
3. What are the struggles that you have encountered in conducting the activity?
How were you able to solve it?
Publishing
After the SLE proposal has been completed and properly evaluated, the facilitator hopes
to share the data created by uploading the said proposal to a reliable website so that other
people can use it to uphold the importance of collaboration.
Integration
The participant’s learning on the lecture will be observed by the facilitator by assessing
the participant’s performance during the activity if they will collaborate effectively.
IV Evaluation Tools
To further evaluate the performance of the participants on the training, the facilitators
will be using different evaluation tools:
1. Observation
The facilitators will evaluate the participants action by observing the
performance on conducting the activity.
2. Anecdotal notes
In relation to observing the participants, the facilitators will also utilize
anecdotal notes wherein the group’s performance, achievements, and productivity
will be noted by the facilitators.
3. Rating Scale
Another tool that the facilitators want to make use of is the rating
scale. Subsequent to observation and anecdotal notes, the facilitators wish to rate the
participant performance on implying collaboration on conducting the activity with the
help of the observed and noted behavior of the participants or each group.

To facilitate a certain activity sometimes seems overwhelming. After the said
activity the facilitators can take time to sit down in a circle to share the negative and
positive things that they have encountered and realized during the said activity.
