Based on my experience during my five-year contract as a
Senior High School Teacher II at Diwat National High School, I
can uphold a learning environment that is responsive to the
community by being a promoter of different activities of the
school and the barangay. I have been able to respond to the
learners’ needs by having a good relationship with the parents and
the community. Moreover, I consistently keep the parents
informed about the student's academic progress, needs, and
achievements. Since the community has a diverse student
population with various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic
statuses, and learning abilities. I employ several practices to
address these challenges. I make sure that my teaching is
culturally responsive since there are IPs in the community. I
employ differentiated instruction, collaborative community
partnership, and support for socio-emotional development. We
donated relief goods to the Ips and train them in connection to the
TESDA program.
I believe that by embracing these teacher practices, we can
maintain a learning environment that is inclusive, responsive, and
ultimately contributes to the improvement of our community.
As a teacher, I strive to show care, respect, and integrity to
learners, colleagues, parents, and other education stakeholders in
all my interactions with them. I also remind my learners to treat
all stakeholders with kindness and respect, regardless of their
backgrounds or differences. I also create an environment that is
safe and supportive of learning.
I show my respect and integrity to my colleagues by
addressing concerns and issues in a professional manner and
working collaboratively with them.
I show care, respect, and integrity to parents and other
stakeholders by engaging them in decision-making and
policymaking.
These practices uphold the integrity of parents and other
stakeholders by demonstrating a commitment to providing quality
education and valuing the contributions of all stakeholders in the
education system.
As a teacher, I regularly review the laws and rules that are
currently in effect and pertain to the teaching profession, as well
as the duties outlined in the Code of Ethics for Professional
Teachers. This makes it easier for me to make sure that my
teaching methods adhere to all applicable legal and moral
requirements. I keep abreast of any updates that might take place
to adapt my teaching practice. This includes attending
professional development seminars and workshops, related to the
teaching profession. I also reflect on my teaching practice, seek
guidance, and support from my colleagues, and maintain
professionalism and ethical conduct.
By proactively engaging in these practices, I can align my
teaching practice with existing laws and regulations while
upholding these responsibilities to ensure the highest standard of
professionalism.

Objective 9
I have been actively involved in a variety of co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities, which have allowed me to share my
knowledge and enhance my teaching practice. I also engaged
myself in a lot of training and seminars that will expose me
socially. Specifically, I was a member of Diwat NHS school’s
organization, School Society. Through my membership, I have
had numerous opportunities to network with other educators and
engage in professional development activities. I have gained
valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities that exist in
the field of education.
Participating in these activities enabled me to share my
knowledge and teaching experience with my colleagues, while
also learning from their perspectives. My participation in this
organization has enabled me to develop my professional skills and
knowledge and has contributed to my teaching practice.
