Purpose and Scope

To establish and maintain a uniform and controlled method for planning, scheduling, coordinating,
performing, reporting and following-up internal quality audits.
This Quality Management system procedure applies to all internal audits and verifications undertaken
by Marina Academy.

1. AUDIT PLANNING
1.1 An internal quality audit cum verification to verify compliance QMS IQA Plan

2. SCHEDULING AND PREPARATION OF AUDITS

2.2 The QMS Coordinator shall be responsible for scheduling, QMS IQA Schedule

3. PERFORMANCE OF THE AUDIT


3.1 The audit shall be carried out by the auditor asking a series Auditor IQA Observation

checklists or alternatives.
3.2 Objective evidence is often in written form or held on a Auditee -

3.3 The mechanism of auditing is to "sample" the Quality - -
System by examining examples of outcomes and comparing
these with documented requirements, so that the auditor is
able to form a balanced opinion as to whether the Quality
System complies with the requirements of the Standard, and

5. CUSTOMER OR THIRD PARTY AUDITS QMS

5.1 If applicable, where audits by a customer or Third Party QMS CAR Form

action. The method adopted to resolve the problems
detected would be the same as for internal audits.
6. AUDIT FOLLOW-UP
6.1 Follow up actions are taken to ensure that any non- QMS CAR Form
conformances encountered during the audit are closed. Coordinator MAMRC

6.2 QMS Coordinator/Auditor shall verify the implementation QMS CAR Form
and effectiveness of the corrective action taken by the Coordinator MAMRC

6.3 Identified non-conformances shall be "closed-out" upon QMS CAR Form
