SUMMARY
ABC Pty Ltd believes that the health, safety and welfare of all staff is of primary concern. However, it is every staff member’s
responsibility to ensure that as far as is reasonably practicable all risks and hazards are identified and eliminated.
Any Occupational Health and Safety issues about which you may be concerned should be raised with your manager or the General
Manager.
POLICY STATEMENT
Health & Safety Emergencies If you notice an emergency situation (such as fire, injured person, etc.) immediately report
it to your manager
All staff should be familiar with the Emergency Evacuation Plan. ABC Pty Ltd.’s Plan is

Workers Compensation All employees are covered by Workers Compensation for any injury arising out of or in the
course of employment or while acting under directions of the employer.
Liability is also extended to cover an employee travelling as part of his/her duties. Note:
Workers Compensation does not cover travelling to or from work.
If you sustain an injury at work, it must be reported to your manager immediately. It is also
imperative that details of the accident (time, place, circumstances, witnesses etc.) are
documented at the first possible opportunity using an Incident Report form.
