This module was designed and written with you in mind. It is
here to help you to Reads and writes numbers up to 100 in
symbols and In words The scope of this module permits it to be
used in many different learning situations. The language used
recognizes the diverse vocabulary level of students.

After going through this module, you are expected to:

1. Read numbers from 11 through 100 in symbols and in


words.
2. Identify numbers of sets with 11 to 100 objects
3. Draw sets of objects to complete the order of sets from least
to greatest and vice versa.

HOW TO USE THE SLEM


Before you start answering the SLeM, I want you to set aside
other tasks that will disturb you while enjoying the lessons. Read
the simple instructions below to successfully enjoy the objectives of
this kit. Have fun!

every page on this SLeM.

are two ways in writing numbers, these are symbol and number
name or words.

In our surroundings there are many things and objects. For us to
know the quantity of each we must count. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and so
on is called counting numbers. There are two ways to write the
numbers, first we can write them in symbol or we can write them in
words.
Example: 3 – it is a symbol
Three - it is a number word

In writing number words from 21 up to 99 we use hyphen ( - )


between two words, except for number 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and
90.
