without IG stories!
CREATE TO CONVERT!

This is a mini course in itself! Here is everything you need to

know to create compelling and purposeful stories that

transform new followers to clients.

creating stories for businesses and my

own coaching biz since 2016!

I will show you how to use IG not only

to show your latte but to get CLIENTS

WHY YOU SHOULD CARE ABOUT IG STORIES?

I know that if you just started your business you are already

thinking about your content calendar, your blog or even

starting a YTB channel. However, the IG stories allows you to

get leads faster and showcase your business and your offer on

a DAILY BASIS, especially for those people who come for the

first time to your profile.

Your followers will be listening to your valuable content often

and getting to know you as a person. With a type of content

that is quick to produce and as effective as a post or YTB

video.

This training will show you how to structure them to be super

intentional with every post you made on IG.

This training contains:

The elements you MUST add to your stories

to make them effective
IG story do's and dont's
Categories you can use to share valuable content

THE ELEMENTS YOU MUST ADD TO YOUR STORIES

Captions: Add two sentences of your main message in every

story. People don't have the sound on most of the time. So you

will be losing attention if they are plain. Also you can make a

teaser for what is to come if you're doing a longer training.

Length: Story sections should be around 10 slides max. Being

concise is key to get the attention of people. Mini trainings are

usually the longest piece of content you will be making but

they should be around the 1 minute mark!

Intro: The first words of your stories are key to get the attention
of your followers. Avoid words like "Hey guys, I just want to pop

up here to say..." by the time you want to introduce your topic

people will have skipped.

Visuals: Add the colours of your brand in the caption colours,

fonts and type of filters you use daily. Followers will start to

recognize this pattern and you will build brand awareness

faster.

Stickers: Add any of these in your stories to make it interactive

and entertaining for your audience: polls, hashtags, location

tag, questions, quiz, GIFs.

IG STORY DO'S AND DONT'S
Do's
Share stories daily: Remember this is the lead generator
you have for cold leads. If new followers come to your page

is key to have a piece of content ready for them in the

stories. That will show you are active in the platform and

that educate in more ways than just posting.

Share content about your personal and business life:

Looking at trainings all the time gets boring for your

audience. Mix things up through the day with personal info

since you are MORE than your business and people needs to

know you as a whole!

Most of my purchases only have been made because I like the

personality and confidence of the person, not only their

program.

TOPICS YOU CAN SHARE FOR PERSONAL LIFE:

Your morning routine

Your pet
Your home or room
Your time with friends
Gym routine
Make up routine for work
Coffeeshop visits (
more than just a latte photo pls!)
Walks/ neighbourhood/City
To Do's
Hobbies, reading list, music list!
IG STORY DO'S AND DONT'S

Do's
Share behind the scenes about your biz and product
creation: This is essential for when you are about to launch
your program (1 month before is ideal, the earlier the better)

Be real with what is happening with you at the moment:

Share your struggles with a teachable moment so people

feel you can relate to their problems bc you are the old

version of themselves.

Share content about your business life: Make your

business journey fun but real for your followers. Here are

some ideas for you to post!

TOPICS YOU CAN SHARE FOR BUSINESS LIFE:

Your mindset routine

Your workflow style
To Do's
Client sessions takeaways for you
Work Hyperlapse
Journaling & Coffee
Work outfits
Tech tools you use for your biz
Repost biz friends/coaches
Repost pain points related quotes
IG vs reality stories
IG STORY DO'S AND DONT'S

DONT'S
Filler content: When you start your videos avoid spending
the first 5 - 10 seconds saying phrases like:

- "Hey guys, so I just want to pop up on here to share with you

xyz"

Instead you can say "Do you want to become a 5k earner in

2020? I teach you how in this mini training"

Not showing up on video: Video is the way to connect the

fastest with your audience and get your message across

with personality

Only sharing others content: Have you seen other stories

with shared text posts? It is boring and no one will read

them. No matter how good they are. You can share one per

day if you want to!

Not talking about your offer everyday: You don't need to

hard pitch every day but you can mention your offer when

talking about clients, workflow, to do's, topics you cover in

your program etc.

Lacking confidence and energy: People will buy from you

if you are confident in what you say and how you act

around talking about your offer. Make sure you know what

you will say and explain the benefits of your offers boldly.

MINI TRAININGS STRUCTURE
This is how you build trust and authority from your followers. I encourage you to do

this 3 times a week. If you could a mini series every week touching the same topic

in depth it would be even better. So you can share bingeable content!

1 Intro slide contains:

INTRO Headline MINI TRAINING

Slide count

Transformation in captions

CTA (arrow)

2-7 body slides

BODY Talk about your program while explaining your (WHY OR WHAT) of

the topic

"In my 1:1 program (which is now open for enrolment) I go

deeper in this topic to get you to DEEP DESIRE) "

"This happened to one of my students in "PROGRAM NAME"

with now only two spots open

Try to explain your topic with the transformation (Showing point A

to Point B)

Add light CTA's to make it interactive and be able to start

conversations with people in the DMs (Any of the stickers in the IG

app) My favourite are polls and quiz. People tend to reply to those

easily.

Change the colours of your captions in the slide so it's appealing

to the eyes. And easy to read

1 ending slide contains:

SELLING WITH IG STORIES

Hard pitch for stories

The structure I use is the following:

- Present their deep desire

- Show them their pain point and the transformation that could

happen

- Show testimonials on video or written

- Present the solution

- Add CTA (discovery call/ DM/ application form)

In the next page you will see a graphic style pitch style that you can

use the days that you're not doing mini trainings or days during a

launch

Soft pitch with mini training

The structure I use is the following:

- Show one testimonial from a client or personal win

- Explain in 3 points how you got to that result (sharing value)

- Touch base that you teach that in your program that is launching

soon

- Add CTA (Was this helpful?/ If you want my freebie around this topic

Dm me!)

- Finish up with other social proof / testimonial

PITCHING STYLE ON IG WITH GRAPHICS
TOOLS TO MAKE IG STORIES ENGAGING
IN 2020
Here are the tools I use for my IG Stories to be engaging:

On Canva I design all my graphics, I create graphics for

launching season or when I need to pitch my 1:1 program. I do not

recommend creating all your stories here because it is time

consuming

I use the Hyperlapse to show the BTS of my workflow in a more

fun way. I usually add music to it as well!

I use TikTok to add captions to my stories when I want them to

disappear. But you can add captions in the IG app (this is what I

do most of the days)

TOOLS TO MAKE IG STORIES ENGAGING
IN 2020
Here are the tools I use for my IG Stories to be engaging:

The IG app has all the stickers you need to

make your stories interactive and not

repetitive. Look for filters, memes, and

colours you use often to make your stories

branded!

I use screen recording on my iphone to show

longer text that will be hard to read in one shot.

Use it to show your landing pages, a sneak peek

of your program or to teach a specific tip with

your phone!
THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!
