INTRODUCTION

I. ATTENTION-GETTER: Your attention-getter goes here. It could be a striking question,

a short anecdote, a famous saying/quote, or relevant statistics. You may also add here
a statement of significance or why your topic is important. Ideally, it should only be
about 30 seconds long when delivered.

II. THESIS STATEMENT: A thesis statement in a speech is a concise summary of the

main argument. It appears in the introduction and guides the speaker's ideas
throughout the speech.

BODY

The body of the speech is the main part where the speaker elaborates on the thesis
statement and presents supporting details to prove their argument. It consists of three main
points, each with its own subpoints and supporting details. The first main point is presented
and supported, then followed by the second, and finally the third and final main point. Each
subpoint and supporting detail should be logically connected to the main point it supports and
should be presented clearly and concisely. The body of the speech should be organized, easy
to follow, and should provide enough information to convince the audience of the speaker's
argument.
