Introduction:

The Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) program serves as a dynamic platform for pupils
to acquire practical skills and knowledge essential for personal development and future career opportunities.
This comprehensive report highlights the diverse accomplishments in the TLE curriculum, specifically
focusing on Agriculture Arts, Industrial Arts, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and
Home Economics.

Programs/Projects/Activities

Agriculture Arts:

Gulayan sa Paaralan:

Theme: "Sustainability after Pandemic"


In response to the global pandemic, pupils actively engaged in the creation of a sustainable school
garden, Gulayan sa Paaralan. The theme "Sustainability after Pandemic" underscored the importance of self-
sufficiency and environmental responsibility in the face of challenges.
Red Egg Making:

Exploring cultural traditions, pupils participated in the art of red egg making. This activity not only
provided an avenue for creativity but also allowed pupils to appreciate and preserve cultural practices,
fostering a sense of identity and community.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT):

Lectures on Safe Spaces using Internet:

Acknowledging the significance of safe online practices, pupils attended informative lectures on
maintaining safe spaces while using the internet. The discussions covered topics such as cyberbullying,
privacy protection, and responsible internet usage, equipping pupils with crucial digital life skills.

Word Processing:

Practical lessons in word processing enhanced pupils' proficiency in creating and editing documents.
This skill set is vital for academic and professional success, preparing Pupils for the demands of the modern
information-driven world.

Basic Keyboard Typing:

Recognizing the foundational importance of keyboard typing skills, pupils underwent training to
improve their typing speed and accuracy. This skill is fundamental for efficiency in various digital tasks,
contributing to overall digital literacy.

Home Economics:

Basic Skills on Crocheting:

Pupils developed fundamental crocheting skills, exploring creativity and self-expression. This
activity not only honed artistic abilities but also provided a practical skill with potential applications in
personal and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Making Crochet Bags:

Building upon basic crocheting skills, pupils engaged in the creation of crochet bags. This project
aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, sustainable living, and the production of eco-friendly alternatives,
empowering pupils with practical skills and a sense of environmental responsibility.
Industrial Arts:

Recycling Plastics:

A hands-on project focused on recycling plastic bottles into aesthetically pleasing flowers was
undertaken. These recycled plastic flowers were proudly displayed on the classroom facade, serving as a
tangible reminder of the pupils' creativity and commitment to environmental conservation.

The accomplishments in Technology and Livelihood Education reflect a holistic approach to


education, integrating hands-on experiences and practical skills across Agriculture Arts, Industrial Arts, ICT,
and Home Economics. These initiatives not only enrich the academic journey but also prepare pupils for the
challenges of the contemporary world by fostering sustainability, cultural appreciation, and digital literacy.
The diverse range of activities demonstrates the TLE program's commitment to producing well-rounded
individuals equipped with both knowledge and practical skills for a successful future.
