Introduction
Correlational study is a kind of investigation in which researchers explore the
relationship between two or more variables without manipulating them. The term
correlation is defined as the statistical measure that quantifies the strength and direction of
the relationship between variables. Correlational research consists of looking for several
variables that interact with each other, so when the change in one of them is evident, one
can assume what the change will be in the other that is directly related to it.

Objectives/ Hypothesis:
This study aims to seek correlation between the age of pregnancy and number of children
of a mother.

Hypotheses:
1. There is a correlation between the age of pregnancy and the number of
children.
2. There is no correlation between the age of pregnancy and the number of
children.

Interpretation:

Moderately low negative correlation

Conclusion: (5 sentences)

Based on the data collected from the interview, the computer pearson r is -0.44. Thus, it
can be concluded that there is a moderately low negative correlation between the age of
pregnancy and the number of children. This suggests that, on average, as the age of
pregnancy increases, the number of children in present time tends to decrease. This
indicates a trend where women who became pregnant at older ages are likely to have
fewer children. However, it is important to note that the negative correlation is only
moderately low, suggesting that other factors may also influence the number of children a
mother has in the present time.
