VI. RATIONALE:
In accordance to DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2021 (School Calendar and Activities
for School Year 2021-2022), the Department of Education (DepEd) reiterates the
conduct of In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers from January 31 to February 5,
2022.
The first two days of the five-day mid-year break may be spent to evaluate the
school’s progress attained in the implementation of the educational programs,

project, and activities (PPAs), as well as to review the performance of teachers and
school staff in order to address concerns through collaborative effort.
The last three days may be devoted for the conduct of the school -based In-
Service Training (INSET) activities for the teachers’ continued professional
development and the preparation for their Instructional Materials (IMs).
In this regard, the English Dept. of Bayambang National High School will
conduct a seminar-workshop which is expected to boost the potentials of the
participants for them to maximize their engagement classroom teachers, while
adapting to the challenges posed by COVID-19.
VII OBJECTIVES:
This training aims to:

1. Discuss topics relevant to the combination of teaching strategies that can
address students’ varying learning styles and academic capabilities;
2. Help teachers to come up with effective teaching strategies and

implement innovative solutions in order to meet every student’s individual
needs;
3. Acquire technological skills to enhance teaching particularly in English.
