Thus, this training seeks to build bridges to school and

community.
XII. Terminal Objective:

To capacitate teachers’ professional growth and development on
establishing linkages between the school and the community.
XIII. Enabling Objectives:

1. To identify key resources as context of learning and teaching
2. To identify and establish areas of linkages between the school and the
community for mutual linkages
3. To describe various roles of teachers in the community where the school is
situated
4. To recognize the roles and elicit the support of the LSB, PTA, and other
organizations and institutions, both GO’s and NGO’s
XIV. Expected Outputs:

Capacitate teachers’ professional growth and development.
Gain appropriate knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

VIII. Highlights of the Program/Activity

 Opening Activity
The activity started with the arrival and registration with Maam
Zemonaida Hamsa. It was then followed by the opening program with Sir
Jacob Jaime Paracale as in-charge. Then, Sandra S. Espartero, the
Partnership Coordinator said her welcome remarks.
 Synthesis of the Inputs
Firstly, Maam Lanny Bodegas explained the resource mapping of
the community. Secondly, Maam Glenda Labordo discussed the tapping
of community resources. Thirdly, Maam Gina Tomenlaco expounded on
the school partners and the key stakeholders. Lastly, Maam Lyn
Babagonio revealed the tips in dealing with parents.
 Closing Activity
Finally, Maam Cherry M. Fajagutana, the School Head of
Ambalgan Elementary School, shared a wonderful and inspiring message
in her closing remarks.
XI. Recommendation
It is recommended that there should be LAC sessions like this to
capacitate teachers’ professional growth and development on establishing linkages
between the school and the community.
